Holiday Season thanks

Dear Friends,
The Holiday Season has arrived on schedule with Thanksgiving just around the corner, making this the ideal time for a letter that is all about saying thank you.

Many of you have been supporting our program since the very beginning, when we first started raising money and developing our time-tested services back in 1986. You were there when we welcomed our first pregnant girl in 1990, and have stood beside us through every season, providing prayers, encouragement, volunteering, donating goods and services, and giving financially. I want to personally say, thank you. We would never have lasted this long without you.

The little guy pictured is one of the primary reasons we do what we do, and why you have chosen to partner with us. At this stage, we have reached a point where some families are now three generations deep. Young moms that were part of program so long ago are now grandparents. They have broken cycles of abuse, poverty, domestic violence, homelessness, addictions, and so much more to create new legacies that will continue long after we are gone.

You helped make that possible.

Unlike many letters that you may receive this time of year, we are not here to ask you for anything. Quite the opposite. We simply want to say how much your confidence in Bethany House has meant to us through the years…through the decades.

Whether you joined our mission last month or back in 1986, please know you have played an important part in our success. Unlike so many programs and ministries that have sadly been forced to close their doors over the years, your commitment has allowed Bethany House to stand strong and continue helping women and children through recessions and pandemics, through good times and difficult times. Here we are in 2023, still providing life changing services to the most vulnerable in our community.
