Cherie,
known by her former employees at First Interstate Bank as “Mother
Dobbs,” is Bethany House’s Senior House Mother. After
30 years working in banking as a branch manager, Cherie joined
the Bethany House team to help pregnant women realize their dreams.
She is the perfect person to spend evenings with the residents.
Her quirky personality and unique sense of humor bring fun and
laughter to the residents. Known for nurturing qualities, Cherie
is often the one the ladies turn to when the going gets rough.
Cherie goes above and beyond to provide the love these ladies
so desperately need in order to flourish. |

Ticia joined
the Bethany House family as a volunteer, but quickly expanded
into our second seasoned House Mother. Ticia spends two nights
a week with the program’s residents. As a married mother
of three, she has learned to provide love and structure effectively,
and remains a stabilizing force for the program. Her calm, no-nonsense
manner has proven to be an invaluable asset in a house often
filled with anxiety-ridden young women. Ticia’s willingness
to work on multiple projects only adds to her effectiveness. |

Shirley has
known for years about the wonderful work that takes place at
Bethany House. After knowing Beth Rhinehart for years, she took
the next step and came on board as a weekend housemother. With
two of her sons out of the “nest,” and the other
two not far behind, she was wondering what God had in store for
her. Considering her most fulfilling time in life was being mother,
this position was a perfect fit. Shirley lives with her husband
Jesse in Vancouver, WA, and has four sons serving in the military.
She is a welcome and experienced addition to the Bethany House
staff. |
